PERANCANGAN DAN ANALISIS STEGANOGRAFI VIDEO DENGAN MENYISIPKAN TEKS MENGGUNAKAN METODE END OF FILE (EOF) DAN METODE CAESAR CHIPERTEXT

Abstract: The application of technology in the field of data and information security has been
widely implemented. Threats to information security can occur when the information sent is not
addressed to everyone but only to certain people, especially if the information provided is
confidential. For this reason, we need software that can hide confidential information on media,
namely video. The method used is End Of File in the encryption process, combined with
inserting text into the video using the Caesar ciphertext method. Based on the tests carried out,
an application was produced that can be used to hide information by using video in (*.mp4)
format and testing of the video used was also carried out before and after being encoded or
decoded to find out whether there were changes to the video. The result of this research is a
change in the size of the video, namely the size of the original video compared to the size of
the encrypted video after being inserted has increased.
