Abstract

For farmers that continue to determine the proper amount of feed for tilapia using traditional methods, the primary issue is feed demands. This study aims to apply feed use calculation to assist farmers in increasing crop yields while conserving cultivation capital. The amount of feed required and fish data are calculated as part of a quantitative methodology in this study. It is powered by an Android application and has calculator functions for survival rate, feed rate, specific growth rate, and food conversion rate. The application's outcomes demonstrate that it was successful in assisting farmers in accurately determining the requirement for fish feed at a stocking density of three thousand fish per pond. The daily feed in pond one uses as much as 1.44kg/day, showing an average weight of about 30gr/fish. Compared without using the application, it was shown that in pond two using feed as much as 2.40kg/day, the average weight of the fish was around 24gr/fish. Indicates that the application is working well for Fish farmers.
