Abstract

A common problem in society is the lack of information about the amount of paint needed when painting walls. This often leads to ineffective and efficient purchases. When the paint purchased exceeds the need, unnecessary waste occurs. herefore, there is a need for a technological solution that can help people calculate their needs accurately. The aim is to help determine the correct quantity of paint needed when painting, so you can save costs by avoiding excessive or less than necessary purchases. This study uses a comparative method, which is to compare computational calculations with manual calculations. The program was created using Android Studio with the programming language Java and a database using SQLite. Application development results show that the program has a good accuracy rate, with a percentage of 90.4%.
