Abstract

Students are required to be active and have achievements in academic and nonacademic fields. For this reason, the selection of outstanding students not only has a good grade
point average (GPA) value but is also supported by other
abilities. The purpose of this research is to create a
system that can assist in the selection process, namely the
Decision Support System (SPK) for selecting outstanding
students. The methods used in this research are simple additive weighting (SAW) and additive ratio assessment (ARAS). The system is made using Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) as a programming language, with a MySQL database. The results of the application show that this system can produce output in the form of a report on the list of prospective students with achievements, along with the value of the analysis results from ISO 9126, which have a percentage value of 70.41% on a good scale. These results have the highest percentage value, namely maintainability, with a percentage value of 74.3% on a good scale.
