Abstract

NURAISYAH. Design of an Interactive Learning Media for the Solar System (Supervised by Mr. Wahyuddin and Mr. Mughaffir Yunus). Learning the solar system is a difficult material to understand because many students have difficulty imagining three-dimensional shapes through twodimensional images in textbooks. This study aims to create an interactive learning media application to help students understand the planets in the solar system. This study uses a qualitative method by collecting data through literature studies. The application is designed using Unity and Vuforia SDK as markers, and the C# programming language by utilizing Augmented Reality (AR) technology. The study was conducted for three months in 2024 in Parepare City. The results of the study show that this application is effective in helping students understand the material by providing interactive features, such as scanning Augmented Reality markers in the form of images that produce 3D objects and information about each planet in the solar system.
