Abstract

The high interest of generation Z teenagers in using two-wheeled
transportation is not balanced by awareness of traffic safety. This
research aims to determine the characteristics of teenage two�wheeled riders, their level of understanding, the influence of
violations, errors and deviations on traffic safety. The survey was
carried out by distributing questionnaires to 200 respondents. The
data obtained was analyzed using the SPSS program with a multiple
linear regression model. The results of the research were 200
teenagers, the characteristics of age 15-20 years 56%, male gender
59%, driving license C 69%, driving experience 2-5 years 53%, driving
duration 1 hour 57%, history of accidents 53%, the percentage of
moderate accidents is 37%, 54% have never been ticketed. Good
category knowledge 61%. The results of the partial t test show that
the independent variable has a significant effect on the dependent
variable with each independent variable being significant (0.000 <
0.05). Simultaneous f test results of the independent variable have a
significant effect on the dependent variable, the F value is 18.296 > F
table 2.651, a significant value (0.000 < 0.05)
