Abstract

This study aims to analyze the compressive strength of sea sand concrete that is suitable as a fine aggregate of rigid pavement of coastal roads. This study uses an experimental method with a cylindrical compressive strength test piece with a diameter of 150 mm and a height of 300 mm with a percentage of sea sand of 0%, 10%, 15%, 20% and 25% at the age of 3, 7, 14, 21 and 28 days. Based on the results of the concrete compressive strength test, there was an increase in strength in concrete using sea sand by 10%, 15%, 20% and 25% at the age of 7, 14, 21 and 28 days. The largest compressive strength occurs in concrete with a percentage of 25% sea sand of 26.29 MPa at a treatment age of 28 days, while the lowest compressive strength occurs at a 3-day treatment age of 16.00 MPa. The longer the life of the concrete treatment, the more compressive strength of the concrete produced
