Abstract

This thesis discusses the strategy of Islamic Religious Education Teachers in shaping the learning motivation of students at SMP Negeri 6 Satap Baraka. The purpose of this study: a) to determine the strategy of Islamic Religious Education teachers in shaping the learning motivation of students in SMP Negeri 6 Satap Baraka. b) to describe the obstacles of Islamic Religious Education teachers in
shaping the learning motivation of students in SMP Negeri 6 Satap Baraka. c) to develop the strategy of Islamic Religious Education teachers in shaping the learning
motivation of students in SMP Negeri 6 Satap Baraka. This is motivated by the need to understand and develop an effective approach in increasing students ' motivation towards learning the Islamic religion. High learning motivation plays a crucial role in academic achievement and student character formation. However, challenges are often encountered in the application of methods that can motivate students to the maximum. As the completion of this thesis, the author uses the type of qualitative research with the approach of psychological, sociological, and theological
approaches. Data collection techniques; observation, interview and documentation. With analytical techniques; data reduction, data display and verification. Test data
validity, improve persistence, triangulation and member check. The results of this study that, the strategy of Islamic Religious Education teachers in shaping the learning motivation of students involves a holistic approach
and oriented to the needs of students. Teachers integrate learning based on Islamic values with interesting and relevant methods, such as the use of Interactive media, a
personal approach in guiding students, as well as providing constructive feedback. Obstacles in shaping learners ' learning motivation include a lack of support from
the surrounding environment, such as parents and the community, as well as limited
educational facilities and resources that support more innovative learning methods. The implementation of the PAI teacher strategy in shaping the learning motivation
of students in SMP Negeri 6 Satap Baraka showed positive results through the application of a varied approach and focusing on student needs. Teachers apply methods that involve active interaction, the use of interesting learning media, as well as the integration of Islamic values in a context relevant to the daily lives of students.
